So Good They Had To Do It Again!!

So Good They Had To Do It Again!!

So about Wednesday night…

I headed out to catch two of the best female DJ’s, Dee Jay Alicia and Mz. Nicky D’Vine tear the roof off the Renaissance for the 2nd time.  I previously wrote about their 1st night at the Renaissance here!  Check it out if you need a refresher.   It is clear to me that when these two ladies get together it is pure magic.  Last night was no exception.  I stepped into the Renaissance with a room full of positive energy. The mood at Renaissance was absolutely electric. The place was buzzing with people laughing, drink and dancing.   These two DJ's walked into the Renaissance ready to give “musical service” to the people.

Nicky D’Vine.  It was the ladies turn to bless the tables at the Renaissance Bronzeville. The location was the perfect setting for a sexy and soulful evening of house music.  The energy at Renaissance was high; the room was filled with familiar faces.   It was the middle of the week but people came out to party, have a good time and take the stress of the day off.

Renaissance Wednesday!!!

Renaissance Wednesday!!!

Walking into the Renaissance, I felt like I was stepping back in time. Located in Bronzeville, also known as the “Black Metropolis”, The Renaissance Bronzeville is a beautiful venue that combines vintage style with modern accents.   Reminiscent of old jazz clubs that used to line the Bronzeville neighborhood streets, the venue is full of ambiance and style.  Big Bands have been replaced by soulful DJs playing to an eclectic crowd of young professionals and seasoned house people.  Spacious and comfortable seating surround the perimeter of the club with a dedicated VIP area to the left of the DJ Booth.  There is a decent sized dance floor and a huge bar.  It feels intimate without feeling cramped.
