"We R Tuesday" Nights!!!

Presented by Curt Ford of  N’ Da House Promotions along with resident DJ’s Tony T and Chosen Few DJ/Producer, Mike Dunn, Reynolds is a legendary weekly party in the Chicago Music Scene. Their parties each and every Tuesday are consistently filled to capacity and regulars at Reynolds will tell you to "get in where you fit in". You have to make a space to dance because it can get crowded pretty early and the dance floor is jammed packed with bodies in motion.  The crowd extends through the club then to the outdoor patio.  The patio is a hotspot for conversation and photos especially during the summer months.  Located on the Southside of Chicago, Reynolds is a neighborhood locale and the “Bar Stars” know their customers by name. They already know what you want to drink when you walk through the door and they are known for making some of the best poured drinks, especially their “Long Islands”.  It’s hard to feel alone at Reynolds. There is always someone you know there on a Tuesday night. On any given evening you may even see local celebrities and house legends getting their life on the dance floor.     Reynolds is intimate and familiar; it is our own special version of “Cheers”, the place where everyone knows your name.

“We R Tuesday” nights at Reynolds is currently in their 9th year of having one of the most beloved parties on the south side of Chicago.  Their following is extremely loyal to resident DJ’s Tony T and Mike Dunn.  DJ Tony T with over 20 years of experience, specializing in House music, Underground, Disco and Deep House, always sets the tone for the evening.   At first glance, Tony T appears to be an introvert but is commanding and dominant on the tables.  Each and every week, he effortlessly blends new with the classics, afro house with underground and soulful with deep house.  He is a master DJ well respected in the house music scene for not just his skill but his humility.   Reynolds patrons are accustomed to Tony T putting their bodies through a workout on the dance floor and they arrive early for his musical beat down.

Like the most coordinated and skillful relay race, Tony T passes the musical baton to Chosen Few DJ, Mike Dunn and he proceeds to carry the crowd home with a fist pumping set that will have you covered in sweat.  Mike begins his set with his signature “It’s FIYAH BABY” and proceeds to pick up where Tony T left off.  There is never a need to build up the energy of the crowd again; the vibe and energy at Reynolds is high from the moment you walk in.   Watching Mike play is like taking a master class.  You will always find other DJ’s nearby just taking it all in, marveling at his skill and song selection.  He is a DJ who knows his crowd, many of whom have been coming out each and every Tuesday night for the past 9 years. A skilled, experienced DJ and producer, he knows what they like to hear and he loves to surprise them with something new.  He’s beloved by the crowd for his approachability, cool as a cucumber personality and his diverse Musicality.   He is a DJ who loves “house” people; he always makes the time to speak and interact with fans and friends during the evening.   Tuesday nights at Reynolds is their “home” and DJ Tony T and Mike Dunn always make sure you feel welcomed.  These are the keys to having one of the most successful parties in the city and the team that comprises

D.Sanders, a Chicago native, is a devoted mother, blogger and writer who is passionate about her family, friends, women's rights, living authentically and telling her story.   She is also a spoken word recording artist under the name, Black Widow. She has been writing and blogging for over 15 years providing commentary and expressing thought on life, love and relationships. Her artistry can be heard on two house music singles, “Rough”, and “Gruv Me” released by Grammy Nominated Producer and CEO of T’s Box Records & T’s Crates, Terry Hunter under the production of Mike Dunn and Dee Jay Alicia. . Both singles reached #1 on Traxsource’s Afrohouse and charted top ten overall as well reaching the top ten in their year of release.  She splits her time blogging about the Chicago Dance Music Scene on www.blkwidowmusic.com and on her book’s website, www.thesumofmanythings.com.  She is excited about her debut book, The Sum of Many Things, scheduled for release in June 2017.   She wears many hats but refuses to be placed in a box.  She believes that women are "The Sum of Many Things".  Embracing all of her roles as a woman, she firmly believes in breaking free of preconceived notions of womanhood.   She believes it is her mission to define her own life experience, femininity and sexuality and not have it defined by society.  She openly shares her story with hopes that women understand their worth, power and place in this world.
